First edition, Jarvis translation in English, first thus. Two volumes. London: Printed for J. and R. Tonson and S. Draper in the Strand, and R. and J. Dodsley in Pall-Mall, 1742. Beautifully illustrated with fine full-page engravings throughout. Books in very good condition, some cracking to gutters, both volumes have a bookplate attached to front paste-down, some foxing , soiling and wear, but solid books.
