The Gentleman's Magazine 1787. London: John Nichols for David Henry. Bound in two volumes and containing 12 issues for the full year of 1787. The second volume contains what may be the first English printing of the United States Constitution. Both volumes are in sound original condition with 18th century bookplate of Charles MacKenzie in volume one. 20 of the 28 plates in the volumes are lacking. Both books in very good condition.
