Near fine first edition in a very good dust jacket. SIGNED by Mailer on the title page. A nice clear signature. Copyright 1955 by Norman Mailer stated on the copyright page with no mention of further printings. Slight edge wear and slight tanning around the edges of the pages. Dust jacket has original price of $4.00 printed on the front flap, which is marked over with a pencil. Front flap and rear panel has small amount of moisture damage. Back panel also has a few closed tears which have previously been repaired with tape on the inside. Some rubbing and soiling present, some wear. We will provide a certificate of authenticity for this item.
