Near fine limited edition set of Lewis Carroll's epic tales. Both SIGNED by the original Alice Hargraves. A matching full leather bound set, both numbered "444". Signed and hand-numbered colophon page states this edition was limited to 1500 copies with the famous illustrations by John Tenniel. Both in near fine condition with only very slight edgewear. Beautiful copies with gilt detailing. Alice's Adeventures in Wonderland also has original publisher's slipcase in blue cloth with blue stamped spine. Both copies housed in a custom-made slipcase. We will provide a certificate of authenticity for this item.
