Black buckram spine with gilt-stamped lettering, with cherry red buckram boards. Generally unbumped spine head and tail, and with sharp corners. With the text block firmly bound in. Contains ix and 205 numbered pages, with a pristine fold-out broadside at p. 116, and with two facsimile newspaper editions neatly tucked into the back pocket affixed to the rear pastedown. Deckled fore- and bottom edges to a handsome effect. Poem and printed facsimile of signature by Charles Erskine Scott Wood, notable early west coast settler. ix; 205pp. Forward by Joseph A. Sullivan.
